Thank you for agreeing to contribute a chapter to one of our books.
Landes Bioscience publishes bioscience books and journals.

We are on the internet as Eurekah.com. The chapters in all our books will be posted at http://www.eurekah.com.
In this way our conventional book publishing program will comprise a comprehensive internet-based database of bioscience and medicine at Eurekah. There are several advantages in putting our books online:
- We will post each chapter as it is received and approved by the Editor for publication so the URL can be cited and the chapter will be available before the book is in print.
- We will publish color at the website.
- The database is updateable.
- The database is searchable.
The following are a few general guidelines for your contribution:
- Please make your chapter comprehensive. The recommended length is 2,000-5,000 words.
- Write for an audience of your peers and for grad students.
- Please write a brief abstract of the chapter.
- Please generously enhance the text with figures and tables.
- In the book, color will be published only by prearrangement with the publisher [us!]. Contact cynthia@eurekah.com for details.
- Of course, color will be published at the website.
- Please send hard copy and disk to the Editor for review.
If you use material from books or journals, please obtain permission and complete and return with your manuscript the Copyright Form.
For comprehensive instructions on preparing your chapter, please refer to the House Style Manual.
Main contributors will receive:
- A copy of the book in which their chapter appears.
- A non-printabel pdf of their chapter which they can post at their website or send to colleagues as an email attachment.
- Access to Eurekah for six months.
We are very grateful you have agreed to contribute a chapter. We hope you'll share our enthusiasm for our publishing program.
